• How long does a service last? Services last approximately one hour. There is a ‘coffee hour’ before the service for those who enjoy a little conversation and a little java in the morning.

  • Are children welcome? All children are welcome at the service or the Sunday School. The Sunday School encourages children from the age of 5-13 (younger siblings are welcome to join in) to stop in for the Sunday School and enjoy the lessons with the other children. Coloring and crafts are often utilized to teach the lessons at an age appropriate level. If you prefer to have your child with you during the service, they are most welcome to sit and enjoy the full service. The Sunday School teacher is Marianne McChesney. Marianne is a science teacher at Newton South High School. She enjoys working with children and is very patient, understanding and encouraging.

  • What do people wear to the services? Attire is whatever you are most comfortable wearing. It is a relaxed service and people wear a variety of clothing that they would normally wear on any given day. It is more important that you are comfortable and enjoy the service.

  • Parking? There is a small on-site parking lot along with additional street parking in the surrounding neighborhood. There is also a handicap accessible ramp into the building.

  •  What is the morning prayer service? The morning prayer service is a small, quiet service held in the chapel. There is no communion served at this service.
